The Tea Party even went amazingly, there were some great interviews and blog posts leading up to it and the day itself was magical. We raised a fantastic amount for the Fund, far exceeding our goals! It was a beautiful sunny day, the music was fantastic and so touching, the crafs and baked goods were lovely and everyone seemed to really really enjoy themselves. Video clips coming soon!

Thank you so much to everyone involved who made the day run so smoothly and the whole event so wonderful. xoxox

Hillary Web is donating one of her lovely quiet and reflective textile bird artworks for sale at the Tea Party. Hillary is an incredible artists who uses traditional fibre techniques to create her work; most notably embroidery and the process of natural dyeing, in a very contemporary way but still rooted in a craft tradition. She creates dyes she uses from plants and foliage gathered in her garden or on her travels. Facinating!

Some fabulous new acts added to the Tea Party lineup and donating songs to the compilation Cd.

Dan Goldman aka Luxury Pond, will be appearing live and donating a song. He has one of those voices that sounds so genuine it sings straight into your heart, paired with quirky yet powerful songwriting and beautiful, often haunting string arrangements (courtesy of Owen Pallett aka Final Fantasy). We are very excited to add him to the bill and the song for the compilation is.. well.. perfect.

A gorgeous song from Toronto's Timber Timbre has been added to the Hibiscus and Rosehips Compilation. Musically uplifting yet with darkness and ghosts in the shadows (and the background vocals) this is Timbre Timbre's true talent, drawing the listener into the world of dark mysterious songs.

San Diego based GDEB is working on an special exclusive song for the compilation. With his lush landscape arrangements and intimate melodies that drift in the breeze of his songs it promises to be very special indeed.
